DOCTORING
MACHINE
Flex
Doctoring machine
has been specially designed to salvage / rectify printed / unprinted
substrate after slitting. The Doctoring Machine, is of cantilever
construction, so that the loading of the parent reel and unloading
of the rewound reel is both, convenient and easy. Both the rewind
and unwind shafts are mechanically expandable and therefore, the
core locking and unlocking can be effected by screwing and unscrewing
a pair of nuts.
A pair of precision-machined steel plates, braced
together with tie rods and channel section base, forms the support
structure of the machine.
The unwind shaft along with the necessary braking
drum is located on sliding plate which can oscillate freely on linear
motion ball bearings. The desired braking torque on the unwind reel
can be applied through a powder brake, which is controlled by tension
controller. Required tension on particle brake can be adjusted by
a multi-turn potentiometer provided on main control panel. Requisite
number of web support rollers is provided for smooth web flow before
the rewind shaft.
The web path itself has been so designed that
the sensor of the ' Pneumo Hydraulic Web Guide ' can be conveniently
adjusted as per requirement.
'Ink Jet Printer' can also be mounted on the machine
& fixture for mounting of Eye mark sensor with movement is provided
for proper setting. A stainless steel plate is provided under the
web, near printer head & eye mark sensor for specific jobs.
